On May 26th the Universidad Libre School held an all-time high event. Thirty-four students competed to prove their best in order to achieve the brand super CUL Spelling Bee Award. Kids from four to ten years old trained hard to be ready and to provide a striking performance.
There were four categories, “Rookie” for the adorable preschoolers, “Beginner” for the neat first graders, “Intermediate” for the audacious second graders, “Advanced” for the amusing third graders and “Expert” for the tenacious fourth graders.
The winners were delighted, their classmates absolutely happy, and both parents and teachers weren’t able to hide how satisfied and proud they were.
This event marked a new entry in the activities done during previous English Day celebrations, and hopefully in a near future we will be able to hold a larger scale event involving not only our students but also contestants from different schools.
